Rodrigo Zucchi is of Jewish and Italian descent and was born on November 26th, 1990 in Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brazil. Raised by his grandparents, who owned some restaurants and a pizzeria, it wasn't difficult for him to enjoy cooking since childhood. But it was at home, from the age of 7 and after many years of watching and helping his grandmothers that he learned how to cook for people we love the authentic Italian Cuisine and Bakery.
In honor of his grandmothers Sandra and Sonia, he dedicates his work and recipes, keeping their legacy and good memories always alive.
Chef attended high school at Ridley College, in St. Catharines, ON, Canada and went to college for Business Administration, Theology and International Commerce at Mackenzie University of São Paulo, in Brazil.
In 2018 Zucchi moved to Miami, FL, USA, where he lived for a few years and learned the true Neapolitan Pizza from the world champion pizza maker Carmine Candito at 'O Munaciello. Chef Zucchi currently lives with his wife Vanessa and son Levi in Honolulu, HI, USA. As a local family business owners they are bringing to Hawai'i the True Neapolitan Pizza Tradition.
